Tailor-made for Quebec winter enthusiasts, this stay combines charming accommodation, snowmobiling and other essential activities, meetings and beautiful discoveries of Quebec in its winter quarters.

DAY 1

Arrival in Quebec

Departure from Paris for a direct flight to Montreal (Air Transat). Arrival scheduled for 1:15 p.m. (departures other than Paris on request).
Welcome by your Quebec guide and transfer to your cabin in Canada in the Bras-du-Nord Valley (approximately 2.5 hours drive).
Key collection and installation in your log cabin. A complete set of “cold weather” clothing will be dropped off directly in your chalet.
An aperitif of the Quebecois region and the welcome dinner await you in the refrigerator so that you can eat and relax as you wish around a cozy fireplace.
First night in the heart of large snowy spaces.

DAY 2

Ice fishing, skating, lumberjack adventures

Morning :

ice fishing and skating. Live an Inuit tradition, ice fishing. On a frozen lake, you will tighten your lines in order to tease the trout, like the inhabitants of the Far North. Then go for a few laps on skating on the trails on the lake.
Lunch at the inn’s dining room.
Afternoon : “Adventures of the Woodcutter”. A forest course consisting of overcoming various challenges as quickly as possible. Among other things: sawing a log of wood with a godendard, making an obstacle course with snowshoes, etc.
Having dinnerat the inn’s dining room. If nature is generous, tasting your morning catch which will be prepared by the chef.

DAY 3

Dog sledding in the forest

Morning : dog sledding. Winter exoticism at its purest: at the controls of your own team of husky dogs, you roam the boreal forest and its astonishing silence.
Lunch in a heated refuge. Afternoon: dog sledding. Take to the snow-covered paths again, under the barking of dogs eager to set off again.
Dinner at the inn’s dining room.

DAY 4

Snowshoes, meeting with the trapper

Morning : snowshoe hike and sugar shack. Put on snowshoes to discover the secrets of the boreal forest. The trails lead directly to an authentic sugar shack.
Traditional sugar shack lunch and interpretation of the transformation of maple syrup.
Afternoon : meeting with the trapper. Go with this colorful character on the trap door. He will pass on to you all his passion for this profession which is at the heart of Canadian history. On the way back, cheese tasting from here at the famous Fromagerie d’Alexis de Portneuf.
Dinner in a chalet. Tonight, dinner will be delivered directly to your cabin so you can truly appreciate the great comfort of your Cabin in Canada.

DAY 5

Snowmobiling in the mountains

Morning : Summit of the Deux Tours mountain. Snowmobile support and explanations from your guide concerning driving techniques and snowmobile safety instructions. Discover the magnificent and very wild region of the Bras-du-Nord Valley by crisscrossing the most beautiful marked snowmobile trails in the region. At the end of the day before noon, you will reach the mountain of Deux Tours where an old forest fire observation tower was once erected.
Breakfastat the top with panoramic view. Afternoon: off-trail snowmobiling and frozen lakes. Experience the freedom of the great outdoors by covering many kilometers on old off-piste lumberjack trails and crossing many frozen lakes. Landscapes worthy of the Arctic. Fondue
dinner with wild meat in the inn’s dining room.
Evening : Quebec-style campfire.

DAY 6

Snowmobile, Quebec City

Morning : The North Falls by snowmobile. Take to the trails again and cross frozen lakes and rivers to the breathtakingly beautiful North Falls.
Lunch with the locals in a superb log cabin Afternoon: snowmobiling in the North Valley. The quiet pace given by the guide gives way to many moments of wonder in this valley. Short transfer to the beautiful city of Quebec (1 hour drive). Installation in your hotel room in the city center.
Dinner and free evening in Quebec, the cradle of the Francophonie in North America.
Accommodation: Château Laurier. Options: gourmet dinner in Old Quebec. Snack festivities of the Quebec Winter Carnival (for departures on January 24 and 31 or February 7, 2015).

DAY 7

Shopping, return to Montreal

Morning  : Shopping in Quebec. Free morning to shop and discover the thousand and one attractions of the Old Capital. Free lunch in Quebec.
Afternoon : transfer to Montreal airport (3 hours drive) and boarding for the return flight (scheduled for 6 p.m.). Dinner and overnight on board. Arrival in France the next morning.

Travel options : visit to the traditional Huron site, visit the Hôtel de Glace, take off on a mountain golf course, cross the ice, overnight at the Hôtel des Premieres Nations in Wendake, etc.
