This is the site of the former pulp mill of Val-Jalbert and its model village. Now restored, this authentic company village from the 1920s will take you back in time with its inhabitants in period costumes animating the site. The school, the general store, the post office … everything is there!

AMERINDIAN MUSEUM OF MASHTEUIATSH
Guardian of the ancestral culture of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh (the Ilnus of Lac-Saint-Jean), this Native American museum bridges the past and the present through its permanent exhibition The Spirit Pekuakamiulnu  and the trails of the interpretation site of the native flora Nutshimitsh / In the forest .

UASHASSIHTSH, ILNU CULTURE TRANSMISSION SITE 
On the shores of Pekuakami (Lac Saint-Jean), this native site invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of Ilnu culture and traditions. The various animation boards will show you the manufacture of wooden objects, the tanning of moose skin or the repair of canvas canoes.

SAINT-FÉLICIEN WILD ZOO
Polar bear, Amur tiger, Canada lynx, caribou, Japanese macaque, snowy owl … different habitats of this wild zoo. Also see: ANIMA LUMINA, an immersive multimedia experience created by Montreal firm Moment Factory.
